No, the On Top of the World does not issue temporary activity cards. Activity Cards are for both Association approved residents and tenants. Family and friends may join a cardholder in any activity they are partaking in, with the exception of the fitness Center, the Spa room and the Billiards room.

Yes, street parking is permitted. Residents should use their parking space for one vehicle and street parking for any additional vehicles. Any street parking that does not have a “No Parking” sign or a bike/pedestrian lane is available for parking.

Yes, all vehicles within the On Top of the World community must obey the 20 mph speed limit.

The Florida Clean Indoor Air Act (FCIAA) prohibits the smoking in most public and private businesses, including restaurants. It is unlawful to smoke within 25 feet of entrances/exits to all buildings. Smoking is not permitted in the pool areas. Smoking also is not permitted in elevators, storage rooms, laundry rooms, trash rooms, or center cores of the buildings.

When issuing or renewing your activity card we ask for a government issued ID, as well as a piece of mail to establish your current residency at OTOW.

Yes, you will need to submit a new lease, a new lease application, a copy of your driver’s license or valid ID as well as submit the appropriate processing fee. If you submit completed lease paperwork one month in advance of your current lease expiration date the processing fee will be waived. The above is required annually if you continue leasing the same unit.

Yes, you may paint your doors white or the color of the building. Sherwin Williams can supply you with the color of your building to paint your door.  You will need to give them the number of your building (i.e., B25, B90).

Swimming Pools: May-Sept : Monday thru Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.,

Both approved owners and approved residents may ask the building coordinator or a neighbor to make a copy of their key. New residents should provide proof of residency to the coordinator or neighbor (i.e., mail with current address, current lease…etc.).

This can be a regular occurrence when we have heavy rainfall. There should not be any issues as long as your windows and doors are sealed properly with a high performance polyurethane sealant.

The Community Service Office is open Monday thru Friday 8:30a.m. to 3:00 p.m. In July, the Community Service Office offers late hours and Saturday mornings to accommodate those individuals who work.  Watch for announcements posted in the On Top of the World newspaper.

Many clubs meet on Monday & Thursdays mornings in the auditorium from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.  The clubs set up tables in the auditorium for the purpose to sign up new members, share information about trips, activities, and sell tickets for shows.  Residents may also review the activities calendar, which can be found in the newspaper, pick out a club or activity to visit and just show up to join.

No, we are a “Village” Post Office and not authorized to weigh packages, but we do sell stamps and offer Priority Mail Services, “If it fits it ships” flat rate package options. Outgoing mail is getting picked up daily.

Neither Activity Center requires a password for WI-FI access.

Guests of cardholders are not permitted in the fitness center, however your guests may accompany you in any other activity, including the pool. You must have a current Activity Card and present it upon request. You must also accompany your guest at all times.

The newspaper office is located in the East Activity Center at the top of the outside stairwell off the Northeast parking lot. Located just west of the stairs is an elevator for your convenience. After exiting the elevator on the second floor, walk thru the auditorium and exit the Northeast double doors. If you need wheelchair access, you will need to enter the Crystal Beach room off the east side of the Auditorium where the ramp is located.

For residents with Spectrum cable, OTOW-TV is channel 732. If you are having trouble getting this station, press the buttons 7-3-2 on your remote control. Do not use the up and down arrows.

Lost and found is in the community service office. You can drop off items or request missing items during regular business hours.

The community newspaper is delivered to each building on the first of each month, except if the first falls on the weekend. If your building runs out of newspapers you can usually find more in the EAC, WAC or in the newsroom, or online at otowboxoffice.com.

Can I rent a condominium for a vacation?

No, short-term leasing is not permitted. Owners may only lease their unit/s for 6mos/1week furnished, or annually if unfurnished.

Yes, it always recommended that you have your water service turned off if you will be gone for an extended period of time.

It is always recommended that you have someone check your unit in your absence.

It is also recommended that you place plastic wrap tightly over your toilet bowl to help prevent water evaporation in the bowl while it is not in use. This action may assist in the prevention of entry into the unit by rodents or other small animals.
