FloridaDisaster.org is a division of the Florida Department of Emergency Managment, which is committed to working together to ensure that Florida is prepared to respond to emergencies, recover from them, and mitigate against their impacts.

Clearwater Aging Well Center

By developing strong partnerships with organizations that offer key resources for older adults, Clearwater’s Aging Well Center is able to link residents and caregivers with services that can make a huge difference in convenience, comfort and quality of life.

Silver Sneakers Program

The YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg is the #1 Florida provider of the SilverSneakers® Fitness Program, an innovative health, exercise and wellness program helping older adults live healthy, active lifestyles.

Pinellas County Senior Center Annex

The Pinellas Park Senior Center is located across the street from the City’s Park Station facility, McDevitt Park, the City Auditorium, and Police Department. The Center consists of three facilities: Main center, Fitness annex, and Shuffleboard courts. They are host to a variety of programs, activities, and events for adults ages 50 and above with a current Rec ID Card. The Center hosts the afternoon movies on Mondays, Bingo, Ice Cream Social, the popular monthly Pancake Breakfast, and a variety of other classes and social activities.

YMCA Active Older Adults

Our Active Older Adults (AOA) represent some of our most loyal YMCA members. Senior programs provide the opportunity to experience a strong sense of belonging and a network of friends who provide support for sustained health and well-being.
